The Author

Earl Decker

Earl Decker writes hard science fiction concerned with power, survival, and the long consequences of broken systems.

His saga Elyria's Fall unfolds across a dying binary star system: five books following the people caught between rival powers as the light itself begins to fail. The work combines the rigor of hard science fiction with dense political and moral pressure, then extends off the page into Dark Sun: Anchor — a game built in Unreal Engine 5 and set in the same continuity.

At the heart of the series are questions that outlast any single plot — about inheritance and sacrifice, conviction and its cost, and the distance between what we mean and what we do.
